In 2023, it feels like a lot of decisions are made from fear and not knowing the humans behind things. Kelly and Chip welcome Adam Biga, aka The Princess, from Rupaul’s Drag Race and queen of Nashville’s drag scene, to talk about the art and creativity of drag. Adam describes the process and time that goes into each creative drag performance and explains what drew him to drag in the first place. He talks about the difficulties of getting comfortable in your own skin and the losses that came from him leaning in to his true calling. The group discusses the new bill in Tennessee prohibiting drag and what that means and why it’s happening. This podcast is like all other VE podcast, not political, but finding the humanity and learning from a place of love.
