Kelly Wetherick , Programme Lead popped into the studio to chat with Kitty and Terry about the Past Futures project.The Past Futures project is funded by the National Heritage Lottery fund, to deliver projects that shine a light on the rich history of the Isle of Wight.Six organisations have been awarded through the first round of Past Futures and the second round opened today.Ranging from capturing the lives of the people who worked in the Ronson Lighter factory in Newport to a podcast series and publication which will explore the lives of notable island women.The ambition of all of these projects is to strengthen and preserve stories from the Isle of Wight , showcasing forgotten and hidden historiesFor more information go to www.creativeisland.org
