Athena and Ken tell the story of Marc Dutroux, the Belgian Monster. This disgusting monster raped, imprisoned, tortured and killed girls ranging in age from 8 to 19. He had a total of six KNOWN victimes, two of which survived.There were so many "mistakes" in the Dutroux investigation, that it caused widespread unrest in Belgium with the country's criminal justice system, and the ensuing scandal was one of the reasons for the reorganisation of law enforcement agencies in Belgium and widespread allegations of corruption and infiltration of the Belgian justice system by the mafia and Belgian elite. In the ensuing protests, called the White March, 300,000 Belgian citizens protested the mishandling of the case. Thomas Thurston had visited this area on Cow Mountain at the Mayacamas campground several times a week for years. That's partly what makes his disappearance so mystifying. Heather vanished from Redding, Ca, in August of 2012. This is another story that starts are a missing persons case but quickly turns into a possible murder involving the Aryan Brotherhood.

Karissa Schell vanished one early morning in April of 2011, never to be seen again. The deeper I looked into this the case the more complicated it became.
