Winnipeg police have apprehended the last of three suspects in the abduction and murder of Zeyad Shammo, a 22-year-old Ontario man. Chad Jason Dandan, a 25-year-old, faces first-degree murder, kidnapping, and extortion charges. He was captured in Surrey, British Columbia, and transported back to Winnipeg for interrogation. The investigation began after Shammo was reported missing, and his body was later discovered in a house near Bristol Avenue. Two other suspects, Sonny Balemba and Robert James Chaykowski, were also arrested and charged. With all three suspects in custody, investigators can now focus on closing the case and providing closure to Shammos family.
