Show Notes
Washington residents aged 16 and up can now apply for electric bike rebates, ranging from $300 to $1200, starting April 11th. The state transportation department is offering this incentive to promote e-bike usage. Eligible applicants can win randomly selected rebates every month until funds run out. Those with incomes at or below 80% of their countys median income qualify for the full $1200 rebate. New e-bikes, cargo bikes, and adaptive models from approved retailers are eligible, but used bikes, mountain e-bikes, or conversion kits are not. Pre-applications can be submitted online, and selected applicants will have 96 hours to provide proof of identity and residency.
