Two individuals, Mehdi Razavi and Arezou Soltani, face first-degree murder charges in the death of Masood Masjoody, a former SFU instructor. They were arrested last Friday and made a court appearance on Monday. Masjoody went missing in February and his remains were found in March. He had accused the accused of ties to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and sued them for defamation, but both claims were dismissed. The accused are set to return to court on March 25th.
