Liquor Store Owner Kulvir Brar Faces New Charges: Child Molestation, Drug Distribution, and Trafficking
Kulvir Brar, a 32-year-old liquor store owner from Longview, faces a barrage of new charges in Clark County Superior Court, including child molestation, commercial sex abuse of minors, distributing drugs to kids, rape, sexual exploitation, and trafficking. The charges stem from an investigation that began last July 4th, when police received a tip about a 15-year-old girl in Portland. Brar is accused of using Snapchat to contact vulnerable teen girls, offering drugs and alcohol in exchange for sex or explicit photos. At least eight victims have come forward, mostly underage girls he targeted online. Police found cocaine, MDMA, mushrooms, and other items linked to the crimes in his Vancouver apartment. Brars arraignment on these new charges is set for March 24th, with trial in late September.
