The historic Keefer Rooms building in Vancouvers Chinatown is set for a major revival after a fire two years ago. BC Housing plans to renovate the four-story heritage site, restoring it to its 1912 glory and preserving its fire safety, electrical, mechanical, and seismic systems. The ground floor will house a local collaborative serving cheap Cantonese classics, while the upstairs rooms will be managed by a community land trust.
