Dr. Erika Dyck, Professor, Canada Research Chair in the History of Medicine, University of Saskatchewan explores the cutting edge research in the 1950's and 1960's that was happening in Canada using psychedelic therapy.
Her latest book, The Acid Room: Psychedelic Trials and Tribulations of Hollywood Hospital explores the story of more than 6000 supervised acid trips, as part of the burgeoning (and controversial) field of psychedelic psychiatry in Vancouver Canada.
