Welcome to Episode 10! Join us for this walk down memory lane as we talk about the cruise J&K took in 2021 on the Carnival Glory! We discuss New Orleans as a home port from which you can sail. From there we discuss fondly the memories we made and the surreal feeling of travel just coming out of the pandemic. We briefly touch on the effect of Ida and our opinion of drivers in NOLA. Katie briefly shares how being in a newer relationship and dealing with other personal hardships affected her actions on the trip. We discuss the excursions we participated in, the tequila we got to try and Katie's surprising opinion on the port of Belize. We talk about the on-board activities and the fact that we opted to relax a lot of the time in the room and watch Ghostober on Travel Channel! Katie admits to having her reservations but enjoying the trip overall and wanting to go again because of the many people we got t meet and experiences such as purchasing art at an auction. She also poses the questions of, "do you like NOLA as a home port or do you prefer another?" and " Do you prefer the larger "mega" ships or the older ships out in the world today and why?". Our FIRST Untold Story!!!!! In this episode, our dear friend Stacey joins us to discuss her escorted vacation to Hawaii with Katie. They reminisce about the decision to go on the trip, their fear of flying, the anxiety they experienced before and during the flights, and the turbulence they encountered. They also talk about their experiences with meeting pilots and flight attendants, and the support they received from fellow passengers. Despite their fears, they had a great time in Hawaii and enjoyed this beautiful destination. During their trip to Hawaii, Stacey & Katie visited various islands, experienced all types of different activities, and made memories they'll never forget.Stacey also shares her recent battle with breast cancer and emphasizes the importance of regular check-ups. Despite the challenges, they both express their desire to continue traveling, with Italy being a dream destination for Stacey.
