Show Notes
In an art ecosystem increasingly shaped by galleries and commercial interests, nonprofit arts organizations offer collectors a distinct and often overlooked opportunity: to acquire artworks while directly sustaining the creative infrastructure that fuels contemporary culture. This conversation brings together voices from Miami’s artist-led and nonprofit spaces to discuss how collecting from nonprofits allows buyers to engage with artists more meaningfully and support a sustainable art community. Featuring Julie Egan (Founder, DETROIT SALON), Leyden Rodríguez-Casanova (Co-Founding Director, Dimensions Variable), and Dennis Scholl (Artist, Collector, and Filmmaker), the panel was moderated by Laurie Rojas (Art Critic and Founding Editor, Caesura).
