The teenage years can be full of self-esteem issues and vulnerability for many people. During this time, we can be especially susceptible to manipulative, controlling, and outright toxic adults who appear more mature and seem to have all the answers. Unfortunately, there are those who fall prey to these Machiavellian creatures and get caught up in their webs of deceit.
