Can there be more than one instance of your individual awareness?
Can you feel the sensations in your two hands simultaneously? Can you observe yourself as you attend to the sensations in your hands? What happens when one part of you attend to an external process and another aspect of your awareness tries to attend to a different process, like plans, expectations or memories?
