Joy talks to independent fashion scholar, Eric Zhang chats about the drag and ball culture, the legendary RuPaul, and the presence and presentation of the Korean-American drag queen Kim Chi in season 8 of the TV series RuPaul’s Drag Race.
Eric published an article with the Fashion Studies Journal: “Kim Chi and Me” and will be pursuing their PhD in Chicago.
