He will never forsake us in our pain. He is always eager to help us. Can you think of a time you were comforted by God’s presence with you? Consider taking a moment to thank God for this. If nothing comes to mind, you can ask Him for this anytime. He loves to answer these prayers. • Jesus invites us to tell Him about all the things that are weighing on us. He sits beside us in our pain and weeps with us. Consider taking a moment to bring Him any burdens that come to mind. • In addition to talking to Jesus, who are trusted Christians in your life you can talk to, people who will listen to you and help shoulder your heavy burdens and bring them to Jesus? (Galatians 6:2) If no one comes to mind, you can ask God to help you identify someone in the future. The LORD is near the brokenhearted; he saves those crushed in spirit. Psalm 34:18 (CSB)
