Overall #1:Spencer Torkelson is Christine Lombardi's pick. Spencer Torkelson grew up with a great deal of hype surrounding his baseball career. He was always known as a baseball player and was drafted as the number one pick in the 2020 draft, going to the Detroit Tigers. In this episode of Unit3d, Spencer talks about the bizarre end to his college career, how he developed his identity away from baseball, how he handles failure and pressure and how important it is to be yourself rather than try to live up to who people want you to be. He also addresses how strong the stigma around mental illness is and how important it is to take care of your brain in order to be your best self.
