Teresa Lynn Butler was a 35 year old married mother of two from Risco, MO. She worked at Walmart and just recently learned to drive a manual transmission. On January 24, 2006, as was usually the case, her husband left to work the night shift while she remained at home with their two sons. The next morning, when he returned, the two boys were there unharmed. But Teresa was gone. She was never seen again. Ben Charles Padilla was a 50 year old from Pensacola, FL. He was a licensed aircraft mechanic, flight engineer, and pilot of small airplanes. He was on a job in Luanda, Angola, overseeing the refurbishing of a 727. On the evening of May 25th, 2003, with the job almost completely done, an assistant and he went to the plane to test its engines. Minutes later the 727 rolled down the runway and took off. Neither the plane nor the men were ever seen again.
