Show Notes
Mothers tend to Self-Abandon. It shows up as letting go of our needs and desires in order to take care of our families, which leads to burnout and resentment. We don’t know how to talk about it, express it, and certainly do not know how to value it.
Could there be a pious addiction under our motivation to nurture our families so that we don’t have to face our lack of worthiness or false beliefs that say putting our own desires at the top are selfish?
Brooke and Mika share their personal experiences with this and offer some tips for how to value oneself. They also discuss the importance of modeling self-care for children and finding community and support whether you are a single mom or married.
It’s time to shift the self-sacrificing mindset and create a more balanced, self-loving approach to motherhood!
