And today we are doing a deep dive into the story of Ruby Franke, the mom influencer who was recently arrested and charged after one of her children escaped the house with duct tape scars on their skin and claimed they had been imprisoned without food. Yup. This is a thing, that happened. To talk through it all I'm joined by NY Times columnist and author of Screaming on the Inside Jessica Grose. We chat about who the hell Franke is, why this story is making so many headlines and what it all says about how we judge mothers in this country.
