Recently, at UncommonTEEN, we have received several emails from teen girls talking about the shame and the guilt that you are feeling for past mistakes, and I wanted to share my story with you to let you to know that I have been right there with you. I get it. I held on to so much shame and so much guilt over the years. The only one who can take away that shame and that guilt once for all is God, but we have to be willing to give it to Him and we have to be willing to receive His forgiveness.
