Show Notes

Barry Mackleston, a seventy-two-year-old amputee from Greater Manchester, embarks on a seven-day bus journey from John OGroats to Lands End, raising funds for his local rugby club. After losing his leg and battling mental health issues, the clubs support helped him recover. Having already raised over fifteen hundred pounds, Barry aims to collect seven hundred more to fix up the clubs facilities. Starting in Orkney, he inspires fellow wheelchair users and is set to arrive at Lands End on April seventh.
