International Fight Week is FINALLY here! Matt Serra and Jim Norton kick off the fight week festivities with an incredible show that features two fighters scheduled to fight on UFC 290’s stacked card — former UFC middleweight champion Robert Whittaker and veteran welterweight Niko Price.
Joining the show first is Niko Price, who humbly dishes his thoughts on the honor he feels being able to fight a living legend like Robbie Lawler in the former UFC welterweight champion’s final fight before sailing off into retirement.
Matt and Jim then recap the action from last Saturday’s UFC Fight Night: Strickland vs. Magomedov card while waiting for Robert Whittaker to join the show.
Once Whittaker is on, the former middleweight champion wraps up the show by explaining how the stylistic differences between himself and 5th-ranked middleweight contender Dricus Du Plessis will dictate the terms of their fight on the main card of Saturday’s intriguing pay-per-view.
