We interview the incredible composer and musician John Altyn. He is perhaps best known for his iconic songs "Outta Control" and "Sleepaway" in the Horror films Sleepaway Camp II and Sleepaway Camp III. We discuss the lasting legacy of both those tracks, almost creating the theme song for Nightmare on Elm Street 3, and the crazy music business of the 70s and 80s. John is a lifelong artist who has worked in music, animation, painting, photography, writing, and even botany. He now enjoys a quiet life close to nature, but he graciously found the time to talk with us.
