Show Notes
Edward Carr, a 45-year-old man, has been arrested for a multi-year, multi-hundred-thousand-dollar fake contractor scam in Mesa, Arizona. Carr allegedly posed as a licensed contractor, swiped info from real subcontractors, and demanded upfront payments for shoddy or unfinished projects. Victims ended up paying tens of thousands extra, and some dealt with serious property damage. Carr used different aliases and may have more victims in the Phoenix area. If you suspect you were scammed, contact Mesa police at 480-644-2211 or stay anonymous through 480-WITNESS.
