Show Notes
- For many around the world, “empire” has become a dirty word, a part of history that is regrettable and shameful. But in the European Union, many leaders cherish the legacy of the Holy Roman Empire, and they’re determined to revive it.
- The movie Sound of Freedom chronicles efforts to save children from sex-trafficking rings in Colombia. It is taking over box offices, playing in thousands of theaters, and making millions of dollars. Yet instead of applauding this film for exposing the truth about this very real issue, the corporate media is insisting the movie overdramatizes child exploitation.
- This episode also examines Russia’s increasingly famous Wagner mercenary group. Since the group’s future is in doubt following its aborted mutiny last month, it may soon lose influence in certain African nations. This could open the way for other players to take on a greater role in those nations.
- Our Last Word is about an event from this week in history that was truly out of this world.
