Hakeem Pinckney was an inspiration. He spent his whole life overcoming the odds. His hearing started deteriorating at a young age, but he never complained. In fact, he won a national championship in football when he was a senior at the SC School for the Deaf and Blind. But when he was 19, he was in a horrific crash with three other family members that forever changed his life. For Hakeem, the injuries would leave him a quadriplegic dependent on a ventilator. He’s accused of stealing millions of dollars from clients while he was a partner at the law firm started by his great grandfather - PMPED. But so far, PMPED has escaped accountability. While PMPED partners have been claiming to “make Alex’s victims whole,” it appears like something else was happening behind the scenes. Bamberg says a lawsuit, and possibly a class action, is likely coming against PMPED. On Tuesday, November 2, 2021 Judge Daniel Hall ordered an injunction and appointed receivers to manage and recover funds that could pay alleged victims currently suing disgraced attorney Alex Murdaugh. On June 7, 2021, Paul and Maggie Murdaugh were found murdered on their 1,700-acre property, Moselle, near Hampton, South Carolina.Alex Murdaugh called 911 at 10:07 PM, reporting his wife and son were shot.
