Kayden Mancuso: A System That Failed Her In 2018, 7-year-old Kayden was murdered by her father during an unsupervised visit—granted despite clear red flags. Her story led to Kayden’s Law, pushing for safer custody decisions.
Update (Dec. 2023): Kayden’s Law has now been adopted in several U.S. states and continues to influence child custody reform on a federal level. We take a look at recent progress and the challenges that remain.
