We got another double header! A Japanese man claiming to have always had a fascination with human flesh. At the age of 35 he finally acts on it, killing a dutch woman that he had befriended, just so could eat her! She was found wrapped in a blanket under a bed, surrounded by life jackets, on a cruise ship in November 2025, with very few clues as to what happened to her. Now, her teenage stepbrother has reportedly been arrested and charged….and for damn good reason if you ask us. Then we move on to another case involving a horrific incident that took place in 2019 on Labor Day in Logan, Ohio. 44-year-old photographer Victoria Schaefer was visiting Hawking Hill State Park to take photos. Schaefer had just finished and began walking back up the staircase to leave when there was an unforgettable cracking sound. Schaefer is in a heap on the staircase, not moving. Lying nearby is a large log that somehow "fell" from the cliff above. You know the movie When a Stranger Calls? The one about the babysitter who receives a creepy phone call, and the call is coming from inside the house? Well, it was LOOSELY, based on a true story. There have been countless stories, and probably even more film depictions of a teenage girl hired to babysit, and after the children have been put to bed, the babysitter is alone, watching a movie, doing homework, on the phone with a boyfriend, whatever. Then the phone rings, the caller asks, something along the lines of “have you checked on the children lately”, the babysitter is scared. She locks the door, turns on the light to see if anyone is there, nothing. She eventually calls the police and once the call is traced, she's told the call is coming from inside the house. None of that happened in this story, but somehow this is the source of the urban legend of the babysitter. This is the story of Janett Christman. A mail carrier in trouble with his supervisors opened fire in a crowded post office on August 21st 1986, killing 14 workers and injuring 7 others before killing himself with a bullet in the head. The police said the carrier, Patrick Henry Sherrill, of Oklahoma City, burst into post office around 6:45 A.M., pulled at least three pistols from a mail pouch and, without a word, started shooting at his fellow employees. It was the nation's worst shooting since July 18, 1984, when 21 people, including the gunman, died at a McDonald's restaurant in San Ysidro, California, and it helped coin the term "going postal". Lauren Agee was a 21 year old from Tennessee who was found dead in a cove at Centre Hill Lake in Nashville. It was Wakefest (wakeboarding festival centered around beer and partying) on the weekend of July 25th to 27th, 2015. The official file reads: that, after consuming a large quantity of alcohol, Lauren fell off the cliffside where she was camping with friends and into the water below. Her cause of death was blunt force trauma with possible drowning.” There ya go, case closed, don't worry about the weird bruising, strong possibility of rape, and the fact that her friends seemed completely unfazed by her death….Nope, the authorities have listed her case as "death due to misadventure", stating they do not believe any foul play was involved….we strongly disagree.
