Travis Alexander met Jodi Arias at a work conference, and sparks started flying immediately. They started a long distance relationship, complete with late night phone calls for hours and trips back and forth to see each other. But the relationship devolved, and quickly became extremely toxic on both sides. They seemed to just bring out the worst in each other, but they couldn't stay away from each other. His friends were worried for Travis, but no one expected the relationship to actually end in murder.
