Leticia Hernandez was a sweet and bubbly 7 year old who disappeared from in front of her Oceanside, CA apartment building in December of 1989. The outpouring of support and assistance was both swift and massive. There were multiple witnesses who saw Leticia get into a car with multiple people and were able to provide descriptions to police. Tips would begin pouring in and would stretch all the way from California to Florida.
