Her positive attitude and drive would eventually lead her to a fruitful career as a nurse practitioner. Although Melanie loved nursing and caring for others she always yearned for more.
She loved business and new challenges!
Her first business was a barbershop which she founded with her husband. Taking the business lessons she learned and managerial experience she decided to later dive Into the trucking industry.
This was only 2 years ago, since then, Melanie has scaled her company to 7 Trucks and counting also adding government contractors to her already impressive resume. Melanie is a big one in creating opportunities for herself and for her team.
Her grateful spirit truly shines in this Interview as she takes us along for the full journey showing what could happen when opportunity meets preparation. She talks bout The importance of having a solid business foundation and even more importantly investing in your people.
