Nach der Rahmenhandlung starten wir nun also dort, wo der trojanische Krieg endete. Odysseus bricht auf nach Hause und erlebt seine ersten Abenteuer, so wie man das kennt.
Am Ende zweifeln wir aber daran, ob Odysseus wirklich nach Hause will, oder ob der Krieg nicht doch merklich Spuren bei ihm hinterlassen hat.
