It might not show up on an MRI, but deep inside each of us is a mysterious link between our appetites and our affections, our stomachs and our hearts. On Maundy Thursday, we explore the final deadly sin—gluttony—not just as overeating, but as a disordered love that tries to satisfy spiritual hunger with physical food. And we discover how, at the Lord’s Table, we are invited to feast on something better. In Communion, we are fed by the only One who can truly satisfy.
