We do our people such a disservice when we boil all of depression down to a "spiritual" problem. God provides for us in so many different ways. I hope this brings encouragement to those who are struggling in their faith this week. Keep striving. Our God is a good God and wants to minister to the entirety of your heart, mind, body and soul.

I've been attending Zona Camp for 12 years and I had the privilege of speaking to 1500 people in a morning devotion. In this quick message, I was given the task to give an overview of Romans 12... I was also given the task to make sure they were awake (camp tends to do that to students. hahaha). "In a world that says our power is on our performance, we can say our power is in our posture because of His performance!"

Last Sunday, I started a new series in the book of 2 Timothy. I love this book because we see Paul lead Timothy as a spiritual father. This message is a little bit ch-ch-ch-cheesy but that's how I roll ;) I know these long ones won't be for everyone but I hope this will bless you.

It's amazing how quickly we forget the essence of the gospel of Jesus - "I can't but He can." I hope this brings you encouragement today. "For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but one of power, love, and sound judgment." 2 Timothy 1:7

In this #SundaySegment, I discuss the difference between receiving a promise and participating in a promise. The reason God's promises may not seem to be working in your life is that you are not actively pursuing them. I hope this brings encouragement. I personally need this reminder all the time. "You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You." Isaiah 26:3

I imagine I will speak into this issue again because I haven't fully figured this one out but I believe it's something worth talking about. In this #SundaySegment, we are taking a look at one of my favorite verses in the Bible. It's insane to even imagine God having this kind of love for us... It almost seems wrong. "As a groom rejoices over his bride, so your God will rejoice over you." Isaiah 62:5

In this #CandidConvo, I reflect on my message from 2 Corinthians 7 that I preached in 2016... so I guess this is a #YesterTrey. I fear that most people have walked away from the church because they've been hurt by it. The problem is that the church is equipped with the gospel and should be the greatest place on the planet to experience forgiveness and restoration. What are your thoughts? Have you been hurt by the church? Will you give the bride of Christ a second chance?
