98 episodes — Page 2 of 2

S1 Ep 45Confidence
Truth & Knowledge: Episode 45 – “Confidence” In this episode, Trey Knowles speaks on the importance of strength and confidence. He encourages listeners to be confident in themselves, knowing that the world is full of voices that try to shake or steal that confidence. True confidence, however, is rooted in the Lord. By standing firm in Him, we remain steady and unshaken. When our foundation is solid in God, we won't be led off course.

S1 Ep 44Perseverance
Truth & Knowledge: Episode 44 – “Perseverance” In this episode, Trey Knowles speaks on perseverance—the determination to press forward despite difficulties. To stop persevering is to give up or give in, but perseverance itself becomes proof of what we truly believe. Life is hard, and while we often long for ease—easy money, easy living, a life free from problems—“easy” isn't always growth. True strength is forged through challenge, not comfort. Sometimes ease only comes after mastering the struggle. When difficulties arise, we face a choice: to quit or to compromise. Compromise lowers our standards, often fueled by fear. But fear has no place in love. Love never quits. Love always perseveres. The key is to live with hope and patience—trusting, enduring, and believing for the best even in tough times. Perseverance proves our faith and strengthens our character.

S1 Ep 43Why Do I Need It
Truth & Knowledge: Episode 43 – “Why Do I Need It?” In this episode, Trey Knowles reflects on the desires and pleasures we often cling to, asking: What do I truly gain from having it? He explains how certain pleasures can keep us trapped, almost like a form of slavery. Trey challenges listeners to consider whether what they pursue brings depth to their inner life, pleases God, or reflects His nature—or if it simply distracts from a greater purpose.

S1 Ep 42Is Money The Answer To Everything?
Truth & Knowledge: Episode 42 – “Is Money the Answer to Everything?” In this episode, Trey Knowles questions the idea that money is the solution to all of life's problems. If money truly answers everything, he asks, why does it often seem so cruel? Why do people prioritize wealth over kindness, or allow others to suffer simply because they cannot afford healthcare? Trey challenges listeners to rethink their values, reminding us that love, compassion, and valuing people are far greater than the pursuit of money.

S1 Ep 41Everyone Is Rich
Truth & Knowledge: Episode 41 – “Everyone Is Rich” In this episode, Trey Knowles reminds us that everyone is rich—but true riches depend on what you value. If you value God, then God becomes both your income and your outcome. As 1 Corinthians 1:5 declares, “For in him you have been enriched in every way—with all kinds of speech and with all knowledge.” In Christ, we are richly blessed: beautifully created in God's image, filled with His grace, and empowered by the Spirit of Jesus who gave us life. This is our income. The outcome is that we can reflect God's love richly to others. Without the Lord, life is empty and meaningless. Scripture warns us in 1 Timothy 6:6-9 that godliness with contentment is great gain—for we bring nothing into the world and can take nothing out. Chasing worldly riches only leads to temptation and destruction. True wealth is found in valuing people, doing good, and living generously, just as 1 Timothy 6:18 commands us: “Be rich in good deeds, generous, and willing to share.” Riches are not about possessions or worldly success. Jesus said, “One's life does not consist in the abundance of possessions.” Instead, real wealth is trusting the Lord to provide. “My God will meet all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:19). Just as God feeds the birds of the air (Matthew 6:26), He values and provides for us. When we trust in the Lord, commit our way to Him, and delight in His presence (Psalm 37:3-5), we discover the richest life possible. Everyone is rich in the Lord—because what you value determines what makes you rich. God is our income, and God is our outcome.

S1 Ep 40Measure It
Truth & Knowledge: Episode 40 – “Measure It”In this episode, Trey Knowles reminds us that we should not classify or compare ourselves with those who boast in themselves. When people use their own standards for measurement, they show a lack of wisdom. True approval does not come from self-commendation, but from the Lord. The challenge is clear: let's measure everything against the Word of God.

S1 Ep 39The New You
Truth & Knowledge: Episode 39 – “The New You” In this episode, Trey Knowles explains that the old self no longer lives. Through Christ, we are no longer bound by the works of the flesh that lead to death, but now find our dwelling place in Jesus. He has freed us from captivity and transformed us into new creations—still in the same body, but renewed by His Spirit. This transformation creates conflict: the flesh seeks earthly desires while the Spirit longs for God's will. Yet, as Scripture reminds us, if we walk by the Spirit, we will not gratify the desires of the flesh. Being led by the Spirit frees us from the law of sin and death, because we have chosen obedience to Christ, crucifying the old nature and sharing in His resurrection. The New Creature desires heavenly things, surrendering earthly aims in order to live by the Spirit. Though the flesh resists, Christ now lives in us, and by faith we overcome. As Paul declares, “I have been crucified with Christ, and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me” (Galatians 2:20). Through Jesus, we are more than conquerors. Nothing—neither death, life, angels, demons, nor any power—can separate us from the love of God in Christ (Romans 8:37-39). In Him, the old is gone, and the new has come. God has reconciled us to Himself through Christ, who became sin for us so that we might become His righteousness. This is the reality of resurrection life: to live not for ourselves, but through Christ who saved us.

S1 Ep 38Dislikeable Fear
Truth & Knowledge: Episode 38 – “Dislikeable Fear” In this episode, Trey Knowles unpacks dislikeable fear—the fear of not being liked. He explains how living for other people's approval leads to compromise, broken morals, and a false sense of worth. The truth is, not everyone will like you, and seeking universal approval is both impossible and destructive. Trey challenges listeners to consider: Whose approval matters most—man's or God's? When we base our value on human recognition, we live by others' standards instead of God's truth. But when we walk in holiness, our worth is already secured in Christ. As Galatians reminds us, “If I were still trying to please man, I would not be a servant of Christ.” Dislikeable fear should not be the fear of the world's rejection—but the fear of losing God's approval. True freedom comes when we recognize that only God, our Creator, defines our worth.

S1 Ep 37Love Your Spouse
Truth & Knowledge: Episode 37 – “Love Your Spouse” In this episode, Trey Knowles explores the biblical call to love your spouse with the same selfless devotion that Christ showed the church. Drawing from Ephesians 5:25–32, he reminds husbands to love their wives as their own bodies—nurturing, caring, and honoring them—just as Christ cares for His church. Marriage is presented as a sacred mystery, where two become one flesh, reflecting the deep union between Christ and His people.

S1 Ep 36Is Once A Criminal, Always A Criminal
Truth & Knowledge: Episode 36 – “Is Once a Criminal, Always a Criminal?” In this episode, Trey Knowles challenges the saying, “Once a criminal, always a criminal.” He explains that this belief is false because God's love has the power to transform lives. Love covers a multitude of sins, and through Jesus, we are offered new life and the strength to turn away from sin. The message of the Gospel is that no one is bound forever to their past mistakes—through Christ, we are reborn.

S1 Ep 35My Everyday Operation
Truth & Knowledge: Episode 35 – “My Everyday Operation” In this episode, Trey Knowles explains why his daily walk should never be disrupted. Drawing from Hebrews 12:2, he reflects on fixing his eyes on Jesus—the pioneer and perfecter of faith—who endured the cross and now sits at the right hand of God. He also turns to John 15, where Jesus describes Himself as the true vine. Trey reminds us that just as branches must remain connected to the vine to bear fruit, we too must remain in Christ to live fruitful, faithful lives.

S1 Ep 34Taming My Mouth
Truth & Knowledge: Episode 34 – “Taming My Mouth” In this episode, Trey Knowles shares the importance of guarding his words—keeping his tongue from evil and his lips from speaking lies. He commits to turning away from wrongdoing, choosing instead to do good, seek peace, and pursue it wholeheartedly.

S1 Ep 33False Teachers and The Love of Money
Truth & Knowledge: Episode 33 – “False Teachers and The Love of Money” In this episode, Trey Knowles explores how false teachers distort the truth, using faith as a tool for personal profit. He warns that they view godliness not as a path to righteousness, but as a means to financial gain.

S1 Ep 32Christianity, Islam, and Judaism are Meaningless
Truth & Knowledge: Episode 32 – “Christianity, Islam, and Judaism are Meaningless” In this episode, Trey Knowles argues that any religion without love is completely false. He also emphasizes that if a faith does not acknowledge the Son of God, something essential is missing. Referencing Matthew 4:4, where Jesus says, “Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God,” Trey concludes that unless a religion is grounded in this truth, it cannot be genuine.

S1 Ep 31Released And Freed
Truth & Knowledge: Episode 31 – “Released and Freed” In this episode, Trey Knowles shares the message of true freedom. What are we released from? We are released from death itself. Through the body of Christ, the law no longer holds us captive—because Jesus took our place. In Him, we are not only released but fully freed.

S1 Ep 30Hamsterdam The Brain On Drugs
Truth & Knowledge: Episode 30 – “Hamsterdam: The Brain on Drugs” In this episode, Trey Knowles explains how today's world exalts merchant drug dealers as “the great ones of the earth,” yet their power comes through deception. All nations are misled by their sorcery—pharmakeia—the use of poisons to manipulate, control, and destroy lives. Trey warns that a drug dealer is not just a criminal but a sorcerer, no different from the predator who slips chemicals into a drink to exploit someone. But this reign of corruption will not last forever—the time is coming when the wicked will not inherit the earth.

S1 Ep 29Warning Come Before Destruction
Truth & Knowledge: Episode 29 – “Warning Comes Before Destruction” In this episode, Trey Knowles emphasizes that sin has an appointed end—it will ultimately perish. He delivers a clear message: Warning comes before destruction—repent or face death. Drawing from Revelation 6, he urges listeners to take heed of the warning and turn back to God.

S1 Ep 28Abortion is Wrong Common Sense
Truth & Knowledge: Episode 28 – “Abortion is Wrong Common Sense” In this episode, Trey Knowles explains why abortion is wrong from a biblical perspective. He emphasizes that life does not come from ourselves—we cannot decide even our own existence. Life comes only from Jesus Christ, the giver of life. Scripture calls Him the “Word of Life,” for His words bring eternal life to lost souls. As Jesus says in John 5:24, “Whoever hears My word and believes Him who sent Me has eternal life… has passed from death to life.” Those who claim a “right” to abortion are relying on the flesh, but the flesh offers nothing. Jesus declared in John 6:63, “It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life.” Abortion, therefore, is not walking in life but in death. Jesus also reaffirmed God's commandments, saying, “You shall not murder, You shall not commit adultery, You shall not steal, You shall not bear false witness” (Matthew 19:18). Abortion violates the command not to murder and stands in opposition to God's will for life.

S1 Ep 27The Power of Correction
Truth & Knowledge: Episode 27 – “The Power of Correction” In this episode, Trey Knowles explains that true discernment is not about judging by our own will or opinions, but by the will of God. As Jesus said in John 5:30, His judgment was just because He sought not His own will, but the will of the One who sent Him. Correction is not condemnation. If it were, salvation would not be possible. Instead, salvation itself is the power of correction. Christ was not crucified so that we could continue in sin, but so that we might live according to the Father's will. John 3:17–18 reminds us that God did not send His Son to condemn the world, but to save it. Those who believe in Him are not condemned, while those who refuse remain under condemnation because they have not believed in God's only Son.

S1 Ep 25Self-Control Wants and Keeps
Truth & Knowledge: Episode 26 – "Self-Control Wants and Keeps": In Episode 26 of Truth & Knowledge, Trey Knowles teaches about the importance of self-control—the ability to govern one's emotions, desires, and actions, especially in challenging situations. He explains that anything pulling us away from the Spirit of God is not worth wanting or keeping, because in that case, it controls us rather than us controlling it. Trey stresses that what we desire and hold onto should have spiritual value and be worth sharing. If our wants create conflict, selfishness, or undermine God's Spirit, then they are not worth keeping. Ultimately, if what we desire is not spiritually fit, it becomes coveting.

S1 Ep 25True Divorce
Truth & Knowledge: Episode 25 – "True Divorce": In Episode 25 of Truth & Knowledge, Trey Knowles discusses the meaning of a True Divorce. To Trey, a true divorce is the act of separating or dissociating something from something else. He emphasizes that true divorce is necessary because humanity has committed adultery—not only in the physical sense, but whenever we are unfaithful through immoral actions. Trey references 1 Corinthians 11:3, which teaches that the head of every man is Christ, the head of the woman is man, and the head of Christ is God. From this, he explains that Jesus is the rightful head of every man, and therefore, we must submit to His authority. Devotion, meaning deep love and loyalty, is essential in this relationship. According to Trey, whatever God declares immoral is indeed immoral. Our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, meant to operate in truth and the Spirit of God’s Word. When we sin against our bodies, we also sin against the Holy Spirit—showing disobedience to Christ’s headship.

S1 Ep 24Be Holy
Truth & Knowledge: Episode 24 – “Be Holy” In this episode, Trey Knowles explains that to be holy means to separate ourselves from everything ungodly and to live fully aligned with God's Word. Holiness is walking in the truth and goodness of Jesus Christ. Scripture says, “Be ye holy; for I am holy” (1 Peter 1:16). To live holy means refusing to watch, listen to, or approve of anything ungodly. As 1 Corinthians 13:6 declares, “Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.” We are called to operate in God's Spirit of love. If anyone claims, “I can't be holy,” that is a lie—Christ was crucified not in vain, but to make us holy through His righteousness. Trey points to Titus 2:11–14, which teaches that the grace of God brings salvation and instructs us to say “no” to ungodliness, to live with self-control, and to eagerly pursue what is good as we wait for the return of Christ. Through Jesus, we are redeemed, purified, and set apart as His people. The key to holiness is abiding in Christ. As 1 John 2:5–6 says: “If anyone obeys God's word, love for God is truly made complete in them. This is how we know we are in him: Whoever claims to live in him must live as Jesus did.” Holiness, then, is not optional—it is our calling and our identity in Christ.

S1 Ep 23What is Written In Your Heart
Truth & Knowledge: Episode 23 – “What is Written in Your Heart” In this episode, Trey Knowles emphasizes that the Bible must never be altered, compromised, or overshadowed by the Constitution. Whatever governs our lives should never stand in opposition to the Word of God. If it does, then we become enemies of God's truth. Trey reminds listeners that our loyalty must be to God above all else—not to the Constitution, not even to the Republic. James 4:4 warns: “You adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world means enmity with God? Therefore, anyone who chooses to be a friend of the world becomes an enemy of God.” This raises a question: Is your allegiance to God, or to the Republic? The pledge of allegiance sounds noble—“one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all”—but only if the nation truly lives under God's Word. When laws embrace what is contrary to Scripture, the Republic itself becomes a stumbling block, aligning with wickedness rather than righteousness. How then can believers pledge allegiance to a nation that does not honor God? David declared in Psalm 119:11, “I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you.” Jesus also commanded in John 14:15, “If you love me, keep my commands.” And 1 John 2:4 warns that anyone who claims to know God but refuses to obey Him is a liar, not living in the truth. So, does this make America a “false prophet” nation? That is left for each person to decide. Scripture is clear in 1 John 2:15: “Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, love for the Father is not in them.” The message is repeated: The Bible should never be altered or modified by the Constitution. Whatever governs you must align with God's Word—or else you risk becoming an enemy of God. What is written in your heart?

S1 Ep 22Your Race Does Not Determine Who You Are
Truth & Knowledge: Episode 22 – “Your Race Does Not Determine Who You Are” In this episode, Trey Knowles reminds us that our race, culture, ancestry, or the world around us does not define who we are. True identity is determined by what flows from the heart—because what we value reveals who we are. As Jesus taught in Matthew 6:21: “For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” The greatest commandment is to love the Lord your God with all your heart (passionately), all your soul (willfully), all your mind (thoughtfully), and all your strength (practically living like you love Him). When the Lord is in your heart, He determines who you are. Jesus declares in John 15:5: “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in Me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from Me, you can do nothing.” Without Him, we cannot truly know who we are. But with Him, our identity is rooted in love, obedience, and fruitfulness.

S1 Ep 21Beneficial
Truth & Knowledge: Episode 21 – “Beneficial” In this episode, Trey Knowles teaches that what we value only has meaning if it can benefit and edify others. If we cannot share what we have in a way that uplifts, strengthens, and gives life, then what we value is ultimately worthless. Many of the world's struggles come from misplaced values, because value is revealed through our willingness—and that willingness is shown in how we live. As Scripture reminds us in 1 Corinthians 10:23: “I have the right to do anything,”—but not everything is beneficial. “I have the right to do anything”—but not everything is constructive. True value is measured in obedience to Christ, with a willingness that declares: Nothing can separate me from His love. What is truly beneficial is worth receiving, worth living, and worth sharing. God Himself extends this invitation in Isaiah 55:1-2: “Come, all you who are thirsty, come to the waters… Listen to me, and eat what is good, and you will delight in the richest of fare.” The Lord says: Come to Me. I am Beneficial. Value Me.

S1 Ep 20Being Blessed
Truth & Knowledge: Episode 20 – "Being Blessed" In Episode 20 of Truth & Knowledge, Trey Knowles explores the idea that being blessed means being holy. He explains that God's kindness and love are meant to lead us to repentance—a turning point where we choose to devote ourselves fully to God. According to Knowles, true blessing comes when we live a life that is consecrated and set apart for the Lord. He references Matthew 16:24-27, where Jesus tells His disciples that following Him requires self-denial, taking up their cross, and surrendering their lives—because in losing life for His sake, they truly find it. Knowles also cites Leviticus 20:26, where God declares, “You are to be holy to me because I, the LORD, am holy, and I have set you apart from the nations to be my own.” In essence, Knowles emphasizes that holiness is both the calling and the blessing—it is how we walk fully in God's love.

S1 Ep 19Dwelling Place Flesh or Spirit
Truth & Knowledge: Episode 19 – "Dwelling Place: Flesh or Spirit" In Episode 19, Trey Knowles explores the idea that your dwelling place is not just where you live physically, but also what you choose to allow into your life—whether it's the desires of the flesh or the Spirit of God. He emphasizes that true life is found by walking in the Spirit of Jesus, which means living in obedience to Him. If we aim to please Jesus in how we live, we are walking in the Spirit. This teaching is rooted in Galatians 6:8, which says: “Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life.” The “Spirit” here refers to the Spirit of Jesus. Living to please the Spirit leads to eternal life; living to please the flesh leads to destruction. Trey breaks down what the "acts of the flesh" are, as described in Galatians 5:19–21—things like adultery, sexual immorality, impurity, idolatry, hatred, jealousy, rage, selfish ambition, murder, and more. These things are destructive and reflect a life centered on the flesh. In contrast, the "fruit of the Spirit" is found in Galatians 5:22–24—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. These qualities reflect a life surrendered to Christ. Those who belong to Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. Ultimately, Trey teaches that your dwelling place—flesh or Spirit—is determined by what you choose to live in and what you allow to live in you.

S1 Ep 18Dwelling Place
Truth & Knowledge: Episode 18 – "Dwelling Place" In this episode, Trey Knowles explores the concept of a dwelling place—not just where you physically live, but what you allow to dwell within you. Your dwelling place shapes your peace, direction, and ultimately your life. Trey emphasizes that obedience to God is where we are called to live; it is the spiritual home that brings life. According to him, we all face a choice: to dwell in life through Jesus, or to dwell in death by living contrary to His ways. Jesus Himself says in John 14:15, “If you love me, keep my commands.” This episode challenges listeners to reflect on where—and how—they truly live.

S1 Ep 17Who is My Brother?
Truth & Knowledge: Episode 17 – "Who is My Brother?" Episode 17 – "Who is My Brother?" features guest speaker Scott South, who explores the idea that our true brothers and sisters are those who do the will of God. Referencing Matthew 12:46–50, the episode reflects on a moment when Jesus, while speaking to a crowd, is told that His mother and brothers are outside wanting to talk to Him. Jesus responds by asking, “Who is my mother, and who are my brothers?” Then, pointing to His disciples, He answers, “Here are my mother and my brothers. For whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother.” This powerful passage highlights the spiritual family formed through obedience to God's will.

S1 Ep 16I'd Rather Be A Slave
Truth & Knowledge: Episode 16 – "I'd Rather Be a Slave" In this episode, Trey Knowles expresses a powerful conviction: he would rather be a slave to righteousness than to evil. He reflects on the reality that true freedom doesn't come from following our own will, but from surrendering to a greater purpose. Trey acknowledges that without obedience, there is no direction—and we cannot rightly guide ourselves. We were not created to live without a Master. We need a Master who gives life, who is life—our Father in heaven. As Scripture says in Romans 7:25, “Thanks be to God, who delivers me through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, I myself in my mind am a slave to God's law, but in my sinful nature a slave to the law of sin.” As followers of Christ, we are called to live as obedient children—not conforming to the evil desires of our past, but pursuing holiness. “Be holy, because I am holy,” for the one who called us is holy.

S1 Ep 15Trusting the Trustee
Truth & Knowledge – Episode 15: "Trusting the Trustee": In this episode, Trey Knowles explores the root of trust issues—highlighting a lack of patience and accountability. He explains that true trust requires surrendering your own will. But who are you surrendering it to? The one who loves you. Trust is defined as having confidence, faith, or hope in someone or something. Surrendering your will means choosing to listen, believe, and act based on that trust. It's the willingness to follow the guidance of the Trustee—the one entrusted with your care. Before you can surrender, you must first recognize your own need: that you are vulnerable, poor in spirit, and in need of help. If you fail to see your need and rely only on your own wisdom, you fall short of true trust. A Trustee has a legal obligation to protect and care for the vulnerable—because love always protects. In spiritual terms, Jesus is the ultimate Trustee. Trusting in Him means placing your faith and confidence in His love, guidance, and protection. "Trust is having confidence, faith, or hope in someone or something. Trust in Jesus."

S1 Ep 14Have Mercy
Truth & Knowledge: Episode 14 – "Have Mercy": In this episode, Trey Knowles teaches the importance of having mercy—both for ourselves and for others. Mercy means showing compassion and forgiveness for mistakes, while its opposite, malice, involves harboring ill will or wishing harm, even towards oneself. Choosing mercy over malice is essential, as malice reflects a desire to do evil, which contradicts the nature of love. Love does not take pleasure in wrongdoing, nor does it hold past faults against anyone. Ask yourself: Do you live with mercy, or with malice? Trey highlights Jesus' words in Matthew 9:13: "But go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy, not sacrifice.' For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners." This episode calls listeners to reflect on their hearts and choose mercy—the true expression of love.

S1 Ep 13The Bible on Money
Truth & Knowledge: Episode 13 – "The Bible on Money" Guest speaker Pastor RL Chance explores the true biblical perspective on money. He clarifies that money itself isn't evil—but the love of it, and the lengths people go to obtain it, can be. Pastor Chance offers spiritual insight into how believers should view and manage wealth according to scripture.

S1 Ep 12Guns And Wisdom
Truth & Knowledge – Episode 12: "Guns and Wisdom" In this episode, Trey Knowles explores the concept of guns through a spiritual lens, emphasizing that a gun is inherently a weapon of destruction, not a giver of life. Its purpose is to end existence through harm or force. Knowles challenges listeners to reflect on what they consider admirable and how those values align with a heart rooted in love. He argues that if one lives according to the Spirit of Love, a gun cannot be seen as admirable or praiseworthy. The desire for such a weapon contradicts the principles of love and peace. Referencing Matthew 10:28, Knowles reminds us to fear not those who can harm the body, but to revere God, who holds power over both body and soul. He further supports his message with teachings from Romans 12, urging listeners not to repay evil with evil but to live honorably and peacefully. Vengeance belongs to God, not man. Instead, we are called to respond to enemies with compassion—feeding the hungry, giving drink to the thirsty—and to overcome evil with good. The episode calls for a deep examination of how our values align with divine love and urges a rejection of violence in favor of peace and spiritual wisdom.

S1 Ep 11Irrational Foolishness
Truth & Knowledge: Episode 11 – "Irrational Foolishness" In this episode, Trey Knowles explores the concept of irrational foolishness—a mindset where people think and act without logic, reason, or morality. Such individuals are driven by impulse, embracing darkness and rejecting common sense. Knowles points out that irrational people often confuse good with evil, accept negativity as part of their identity, and engage in immoral behaviors like substance abuse, vulgar speech, and reckless living. Their judgment is clouded, and their thinking becomes twisted. Knowles emphasizes that true wisdom and clarity come from God. He references Romans 12:9 (“Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good”) and James 1:5, which encourages those lacking wisdom to seek it from God, who gives generously. The path to overcoming irrational foolishness begins with seeking a relationship with God.

S1 Ep 10Beer and Wisdom
Truth & Knowledge: Episode 10 – "Beer and Wisdom": In this episode, Trey Knowles discusses the spiritual implications of drinking alcohol, emphasizing that it is wise to avoid it altogether. He references Proverbs 20:1 and Proverbs 31:6-7, which caution against being misled by wine and strong drink. Trey explains that beer is described in Scripture as something for "those who are perishing"—people who are trying to forget their misery and spiritual poverty. He argues that drinking beer is a sign of forgetting one's need for Jesus and His Spirit. To live wisely and spiritually, Trey says, is to recognize our continual dependence on God. Drinking, in contrast, dulls that awareness and can lead one back into a state of spiritual poverty. The episode calls listeners to live by the Spirit of God and leave behind anything, like alcohol, that draws them away from Him.

S1 Ep 9The Obedience of One
Episode 9 – "The Obedience of One" | Truth & Knowledge Podcast Guest Speaker: Pastor Jordan Fowler. In this episode, Pastor Jordan Fowler explores the powerful truth that the Bible declares believers in Christ Jesus as righteous. But what happens when you don't feel righteous or struggle to believe it? Pastor Fowler unpacks how true righteousness is deeply connected to both faith and obedience—drawing on the example of Abraham, whose trust in God was credited to him as righteousness. This episode challenges listeners to reflect on their walk with God and the role obedience plays in living out their faith.

S1 Ep 8The Heart
Truth & Knowledge: Episode 8 – "The Heart" In this episode, Trey Knowles explores the concept of the heart — not just as a physical organ, but as the center of a person's desires, will, and drive. He describes the heart as the storehouse of what a person values most, comparing it to a personally owned home or room filled with things we've chosen because we wanted or valued them. Trey challenges listeners to examine what they are storing in their hearts by asking: "Is everything I've allowed into my heart truly good for me?" This self-examination is essential because, as Scripture warns, “The heart is deceitful above all things and desperately sick” (Jeremiah 17:9). Jesus also teaches in Matthew 15:17–20 that the heart is the source of evil thoughts and behaviors such as murder, adultery, and slander. The core message is this: what you allow into your heart shapes your character. If you desire and value impure things, the outcome will be destructive behaviors and a damaged character. Guarding and purifying your heart is essential because it ultimately determines the direction of your life.

S1 Ep 7Transformation Need
Truth & Knowledge: Episode 7 – "Transformation Need": In this episode, Trey Knowles discusses why transformation is essential for everyone. He shares his personal journey, explaining that transformation is both the action and the necessity for change. Trey reflects on his past life, recognizing that he was living in sin and needed to change both his beliefs and behaviors to escape a path of destruction. He acknowledges that he didn't know the right way on his own and needed guidance. The desires that once controlled him were rooted in the flesh, leading to an unrighteous life. True change, he explains, involves turning away from those desires and separating from the former way of living in order to pursue holiness. He emphasizes that he was a sinner—past tense—showing that transformation is not just needed, but possible.

S1 Ep 6Cure Your Depression
Truth & Knowledge: Episode 6 – "Cure Your Depression" In this episode, Trey Knowles speaks on the spiritual root of depression and how to overcome it through truth. Depression is more than just sadness—it's the feeling of severe despondency, a deep loss of hope and courage. When someone is in a state of low spirits, they are disconnected from true substance—God's Spirit—and from reproach, which is the ability to resist and rebuke lies. To be free from depression, one must turn away from despondency and become a respondent to the Truth. Despondency leads to spiritual darkness, distance from love, and vulnerability to lies that compress the soul. Responding to the Truth means actively choosing to believe and live by God's Word—rejecting lies, embracing love, and walking in the light. As Jesus said: “Your eye is like a lamp that provides light for your body... If your eye is unhealthy, your body is filled with darkness.” — Luke 11:34-36 “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” — John 8:12 When your spirit isn't operating in the fruit of the Spirit—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control—then you're being weighed down by spiritual oppression. The cure begins by: Turning away from false, dark content—anything that steals love, peace, and joy. Responding to God's instruction, knowing that as your Creator, He knows exactly how you're meant to function. And who is the Truth? Jesus. When you respond to Him, healing begins.

S1 Ep 5Cure Your Anxiety
Truth & Knowledge: Episode 5 – "Cure Your Anxiety" In this episode, Trey Knowles explores the root of anxiety and how to overcome it. Anxiety impacts every area of life—it divides your mind, weakens your focus, damages relationships, and leads to poor decisions. It drains your energy and robs you of peace. Ultimately, anxiety is a battle of faith. But can anxiety be cured? The answer is yes. Why? Because God is not the author of anxiety—He didn't create it. Scripture tells us that God is love and not the source of confusion. Therefore, anxiety does not come from Him. With faith, truth, and God's guidance, you can be free from anxiety and live with clarity, peace, and purpose.

S1 Ep 4Cure Your Fantasy
Truth & Knowledge: Episode 4 – "Cure Your Fantasy" In this episode, Trey Knowles addresses the danger of living in fantasy—defined as believing in things that are untrue, unrealistic, and far removed from the nature of the Creator. Fantasy stands in opposition to truth and can lead us away from God's purpose. To protect yourself, guard your heart and mind against deceptive thoughts and foolish desires. As 2 Corinthians 10:5 instructs: “Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.”

S1 Ep 3Breaking Self-Ego
Truth & Knowledge: Episode 3 – "Breaking Self-Ego" In this episode, Trey Knowles explores the concept of breaking the Self-Ego. He teaches that true humility begins by following instructions, actively listening, and genuinely caring for the needs of others. These actions are the first steps in dissolving self-centeredness. Why is this important? Because love is not self-seeking—love is kind. To break the Self-Ego, the first step is recognizing your spiritual poverty. What does that mean? It means admitting you don't have it, can't buy it, and that you need it. Trey references Matthew 19:24, where Jesus says it's hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God—highlighting that pride and self-sufficiency are barriers to spiritual growth.

The Brain on Drugs
Truth & Knowledge: Episode 2.2 – "The Brain on Drugs" In this episode, Trey Knowles explains that drug use begins with a deeper spiritual war being waged against you. He compares the deceptive influence of drug dealers to misguided admiration—likening them to a "mother figure" whose sorcery leads to idolatry. Trey highlights that these "merchant drug dealers," referred to as the so-called great ones of the earth, have deceived nations through their sorcery—rooted in the Greek word Pharmakeia, which represents both drug use and spiritual deception. He urges listeners to recognize this enemy, reject the lies of addiction, and take a stand by learning to say no to drugs and speak boldly against the forces working to manipulate and destroy.

S1 Ep 2Substance Abuse
Truth & Knowledge: Episode 2 – "Substance Abuse" In this episode, Trey Knowles offers a deeper, spiritual perspective on substance abuse. He defines substance abuse not only as the misuse of drugs and alcohol, but as anything that "subs in" and replaces your natural, God-given self—affecting your mind, heart, spirit, soul, or body. Trey explains that true substance is anything natural, pure, and rooted in truth—ultimately pointing to Jesus as the ultimate substance. When you're not walking in this truth, you're living unnaturally, which he defines as being under substance abuse. He challenges listeners to examine themselves: Is your mind thinking clearly? Is your heart influencing your spirit in a healthy way? Is your soul—your will and belief—aligned with purity and faith? If not, you may be under the control of something else, which is the essence of substance abuse. The cure? Living in alignment with what is clean, pure, and true—walking in the substance of faith. Trey ties this message to Hebrews 11:1: “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” He concludes that Jesus is the true substance, and only through Him can we overcome the things that try to "sub us out" of our natural, spiritual identity.
