It was a tough week of Bet-Aches for the Degenerate Trifecta as Brother Bri says betting Ben Askren was one of the worst decisions of his life. The guys discuss Askren’s legacy. Harry’s Bet-Ache is Martin Truex Jr. after he gets a penalty for speeding and the Parlay Kid learned his lesson to never bet the Jets even in hockey (01:15).
The Knicks are rolling and it’s great for the NBA, plus Steph Curry’s MVP odds climb to 18-1 – could he actually win it? Sal says there are too many great players in the NBA and there needs to be more awards (11:00). LaMelo Ball has been cleared to play and is once again the Rookie of the Year favorite (-300) but Harry thinks Anthony Edwards still deserves it (22:00).
The Phoenix Suns are one of the best teams in basketball that no one is talking about, including the people of Phoenix. Harry thinks they need to bring back the Gorilla and he is willing to volunteer (27:00).
The Parlay Kid says it’s time to shake up the Yankees and George Steinbrenner never would have let this go on. The guys discuss Cy Young odds as Parlay Kid loves Marcus Stroman at 35-1 (32:30).
Then it’s a trip on the Riverboat Casino to discuss which sports broadcaster you’d love to see guest host Jeopardy (46:30).
Finally, the guys make their Sharp Tank picks and Cousin Sal has a great idea on an Uber for kids so they don’t have to drive home with their parents after their youth sports game. And Sal is having an insane auto-correct issue with his phone! Is Harry God (52:30)?
