Tim Brown (@81timbrown) is an American former professional football player who was a wide receiver in the NFL. He played college football for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, where he won the Heisman Trophy, becoming the first wide receiver to do so. He spent sixteen years with the Los Angeles Raiders, during which he established himself as one of the NFL's greatest wide receivers of all time. Brown has also played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. In 2015, he was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Brown was named first-team All-Pro and to the Pro Bowl after leading the NFL in kickoff returns (41 for 1,098 yards, 26.8 average, and 1 TD) and setting a rookie record for combined net yards. He was also named first-team All-AFC six times – once as a kick returner, once as a punt returner, and four times at wide receiver. He was also named to the NFL’s All-Decade Team of the 1990s. ARTIS GILMORE | How Basketball Has Changed
American former professional basketball player Artis Gilmore competed in the National Basketball Association (NBA) and American Basketball Association (ABA). On August 12, 2011, Gilmore was admitted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame. Gilmore, a standout center during his two years of college at Jacksonville University, guided the Dolphins to the 1970 NCAA Division I championship game before losing to the UCLA Bruins 80–69. Gilmore continues to hold the record for most rebounds per game in NCAA Division I basketball. Gilmore was selected first overall in the 1976 ABA Dispersal draft, which distributed the players in the ABA clubs, like the Kentucky Colonels, after five All-Star seasons with them. Gilmore won the ABA Rookie of the Year, the ABA MVP, and was selected to the team 11 times. Known as "The A-Train," Artis once participated in 670 straight games.
