Amen. John 21:25 NKJV “…That the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me. “ John 17:23 #1. Because of His compassion for people, Jesus paid the price for our sin and destroyed the works of the devil. In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. 1 John 4:10 “…For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.” 1 John 3:8 "Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it." Colossians 1:15 "For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace." Romans 6:14 “Sin does not have dominion over me. For I am not under the law, but under the grace of Jesus Christ!” "Open your hearts to us. We have wronged no one, we have corrupted no one, we have cheated no one." 2 Corinthians 7:2 #2. Not only did Jesus pay the price for our sin on the Cross, but He also paid the price for our sickness and disease. "Who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed". 1 Peter 2:24 #3. Jesus also paid the price for our peace. Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. John 14:27 #4. Not only did Jesus pay the price for our sin, sickness and fears, He also paid the price for our poverty. I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live; Deuteronomy 30:19
