And who will go for us?” And I said,” Here am I. Send me!” Three lessons: 1. When your SPIRITUAL VISION improves, your life improves. • (1) Feelings. • (2) Actions. • (3) Decisions and direction. • (4) Attitudes. • (5) Values and priorities. Luke 11:34 (NIV) - Your eye is the lamp of your body. When your eyes are healthy, your whole body also is full of light. But when they are unhealthy, your body also is full of darkness. Proverbs 29:18 (KJV) - Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he. Proverbs 29:18 (GW) - Without prophetic vision people run wild, but blessed are those who follow God’s teachings. • (1) You? • (2) Approval of others? • (3) Material things? • (4) Pursuing pleasure, fun, partying, etc.? • (5) Personal dreams? • (6) Problems and pain? • (7) Past baggage? Fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Hebrews 12:2 (NIV) Therefore if you have been raised with Christ [to a new life, sharing in His resurrection from the dead], keep seeking the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. 2 Set your mind and keep focused habitually on the things above [the heavenly things], not on things that are on the earth [which have only temporal value]. 3 For you died [to this world], and your [new, real] life is hidden with Christ in God.
