John 1:14a The Word became flesh and blood, and moved into the neighborhood. John 1:1- In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. Jesus the Word of God. Colossians 1:15-16: Christ is the visible image of the invisible God. He existed before anything was created and is supreme over all creation,[e] 16 for through him God created everything in the heavenly realms and on earth. He made the things we can see and the things we can’t see— such as thrones, kingdoms, rulers, and authorities in the unseen world. Everything was created through him and for him. Hebrews 1:3- Jesus is the prefect expression of God’s character. The Son radiates God’s own glory and expresses the very character of God, and he sustains everything by the mighty power of his command. John 14:6-9 6 Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me. 7 If you had really known me, you would know who my Father is.[c] From now on, you do know him and have seen him!” 8 Philip said, “Lord, show us the Father, and we will be satisfied.” 9 Jesus replied, “Have I been with you all this time, Philip, and yet you still don’t know who I am? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father! So why are you asking me to show him to you?
