- ESPN sources confirmed on Tuesday that USC HC Lincoln Riley has announced that the Trojans are making a change at the QB position. . . starting QB Miller Moss has lost four of his past five games as USC fell to 4-5 on the season. . . The Trojans will now turn to UNLV transfer QB Jayden Maiava - was this the right move by the Trojans?

- "The World's Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party:" QB Carson Beck overcame 3 INT's to lead No. 2-ranked Georgia to a 34-20 win over the Florida Gators in Jacksonville on Saturday afternoon. . . The Bulldogs won their 4th straight in the series, their longest streak since winning six in a row between 1978 & 1983. . . The Gators played incredibly well, especially QB DJ Lagway, who helped lead the Gators to a 10-3 lead before leavind the game on a cart in the 2nd QTR with a left hamstring injury. . . Walk-on backup QB Aidan Warner struggled, completing 7-of-22 passes for 66 yds & an INT that eventually allowed the Bulldogs to complete the "comeback" win. . . Florida HC Billy Napier reported on Monday that Lagway's injury is "not as significant as first anticipated," and that, he has not been ruled out for this upcoming week. . . what about the two video clips posted to social media that depicted Jacksonville Sheriff's Office officers & fans in the stadium in very heated confrontations, one that led to a "bloodied face?"

Texas Tech QB Behren Morton leads a late TD drive as the Red Raiders posted a 23-22 upset win over the previously undefeated No. 9-ranked Iowa State Cyclones. . . RB Isaac Brown & QB Tyler Shough led the Louisville Cardinals to its first win over No 11-ranked Clemson Tigers 33-21 on Saturday night. . . Mustangs RB Brashard Smith & No. 20-ranked SMU overwhelm previously undefeated No. 18-ranked Pitt 48-25 - SMU now tied with the Miami Hurricanes for the ACC Conference lead, as the Conference newcomer is 5-0 in Conference play. . . Are we headed towards a 'SMU-Miami' ACC Conference Championship' Game?!
- The South Carolina Gamecocks ended No. 10-ranked Texas A&M's seven-game winning streak after defeating the Aggies 44-20 on Saturday evening. . . Gamecocks QB LaNorris Sellers rushed for 106 yards & threw for 244 yards as the South Carolina finally knocked off one of the SEC Conference playoff contenders - after losing close games to LSU & Alabama earlier in the season. . . RB "Rocket" Sanders rushed for 144 yards & 2 TD's while the Gamecocks' chaotic defense came through when needed - as they stopped the Aggies twice on 4 & 1, picked off Aggies QB Marcel Reed's pass early in the 4th QTR, then scooped up Reed's fumble to squash their last hope. . . . Aggies lost their leading rusher RB Le'Veon Moss in this game, and HC Mike Elko has reported that Moss will miss the remainder of the 2024 CFB season. . . tough loss for 'football fans!'

- The Detroit Lions showed that they can win even in lousy conditions after they took command of the NFC North division by defeating the Green Bay Packers 24-14 on a windy & rainy Sunday at Lambeau Field. . . Lions are now 7-1 for the first time since 1956. . . QB Jared Goff continues to be the most efficient passer in NFL history - he has completed almost 83% of his passes & has a 140.1 QBR rating through the first six games of the NFL regular season (which are both the best over any six-game stretch in NFL history!)
- FG Kicker Tyler Bass' 61-yd FG gives QB Josh Allen & the Buffalo Bills a thrilling 30-27 win over Tua & the Miami Dolphins. . .
- Eagles RB Saquon Barkley shined with a 'backwards hurdle' & 2 TD's in the Philadelphia Eagles' 28-23 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars. . . this was the Eagles' 4th straight win. . . Jags HC Doug Pederson is now 0-2 against the Eagles since Philly fired him following the 2020 NFL regular season. . .
Monday Night Football: Chiefs WR DeAndre Hopkins 'Remembers the Titans' in the end zone following his team debut? Kansas City remains the lone unbeaten team in the NFL at 8-0 after defeating the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 30-24 after Chiefs' RB Kareem Hunt plunged into the end zone in OT on Monday night. . . Bucs HC Todd Bowles admitted that he gave "very minor" thought to going for the two-point conversion after QB Baker Mayfield's last-minute TD at the end of regulation, to pull off the upset victory. . .
