S1 Ep 40EP 40: Japan GP Race Reflection - RB World Champions, Piastri’s First Podium, Mercedes Team Orders?

Welcome to the latest episode of Track Limits Podcast, where Henny, Feven, and Mikey share their thoughts on the recently concluded Japanese Grand Prix. Following a disappointing race in Singapore, the Red Bull team was determined to reclaim their status as the dominant force on the grid. Max Verstappen took it upon himself to send a clear message to everyone in the paddock and the spectators that Red Bull should not be underestimated. On the other hand, Checo Perez endured what we believe was one of the worst races in his career, plagued by damage, unnecessary penalties, and rookie overtaking errors. Nevertheless, Max Verstappen single-handedly propelled Red Bull to the Constructors Championship with his P1 finish and has a chance to secure the Drivers Championship during the upcoming Sprint Race in Qatar. This performance underscores the gap between Max and Checo, raising questions about whether Red Bull will retain this duo in the upcoming season. Oscar Piastri entered the weekend with a clear goal – to secure a podium finish. With the aid of new upgrades, he qualified in P2 and ultimately finished the race in P3. What initially appeared to be a challenging season for McLaren is evolving into one of the most remarkable improvements on the grid. With several races on the horizon, the McLaren car seems well-suited to narrow the gap to Aston Martin and secure P4 in the Constructors' standings. Mercedes took center stage with a captivating battle between their drivers, a situation that could have ended disastrously for the team. Meanwhile, Ferrari had a more low-key weekend but managed to achieve a respectable P4 and P6 finish. All eyes are now fixed on the intense rivalry between Mercedes and Ferrari as they vie for the coveted P2 position in the Constructors' standings. As the Qatar Grand Prix approaches, McLaren aims to maintain their strong performance and secure another podium finish, while Ferrari and Mercedes will be diligently searching for improvements to enhance their performance and compete for that crucial P2 spot. S1 Ep 38EP 38: Singapore GP Race Reflection - Carlos' 1000 IQ, POINTS For Liam Lawson, Red Bull In Trouble?!

Welcome to the latest episode of Track Limits Podcast, where Henny, Feven, Swish, and Mikey share their thoughts on the recently concluded Singaporean Grand Prix. The Red Bull dominance has officially ended, and we have ourselves a new winner, Carlos Sainz, in the 2023 season. There are a lot of speculations going on right now as to why Red Bull performed poorly all weekend long; was it the new TD regulations, the wrong setup, or track characteristics? Let's just say the Red Bull team will be scrambling to find a solution before the next race. Carlos Sainz has become a new driver since the summer break. With back-to-back pole positions and now a race win, it can be said that he is the number one driver on the Ferrari team right now. Alongside Carlos was his best mate, Lando Norris, finishing in P2 (thanks to Carlos's brilliant move to keep Lando in the DRS). In just his third race and arguably one of the most challenging tracks of the season, Liam Lawson finished in P9 and earned himself his first career F1 points. Mercedes also looked very locked in this weekend, and both were fighting for a podium finish at the end. George Russell made a costly mistake on the last lap that cost him a P3 finish (a rare mistake to see from a well-seasoned driver like Russell), but confident he will bounce back very soon. On the flip side, our team made a bet to see which Ferrari driver would come out on top, and the losing host would have to participate in a hot sauce challenge. Swish and Henny chose Charles Leclerc and had to pay the price of having a scorching mouth throughout the episode. We also have a special guest, Craig Scarborough, join us on this episode to give his thoughts on Alpine's request for engine equalization for the 2026 regulation changes. If you haven't already seen our full episode with Craig, make sure to stream it from our page. Thank you to Wall Wings for sending us a custom Track Limits front wing. S1 Ep 35EP 35: Italian GP Race Reflection: Max Makes History, Ferrari’s Spicy Battle, Hamilton Dirty Driving?!?

Welcome to the latest episode of Track Limits Podcast, where Henny, Feven, and Swish, joined by special guest Sakshi, share their thoughts on the recently concluded Italian Grand Prix. The curse has been broken by no other than Max Verstappen, who also made an F1 record of 10 consecutive wins. Alongside Max, Checo also helped secure another record for the team as they crossed 15 straight wins. Red Bull did not achieve the 1-2 podium easily this time around, as the Ferrari duo gave them a mighty challenge. Carlos Sainz achieved pole position on Saturday and gave it his all to hold off Max, but after 15 laps, Max was able to force an error on Sainz and never looked back. At the same time, Checo stormed from P5 to P2 by battling hard with both the Ferrari drivers. Albon continues to shine as he drove brilliantly to hold off both McLarens and finish in P7. While the Mercedes duo both served 5-second penalties due to mistakes on track, they still managed to secure P5 & P6. Seeing Yuki having trouble with the car and DNF was sad, but Liam Lawson battled hard and finished in P11. Singapore is two weeks away, and with a new layout this year, teams expect to have more battles and overtakes, which was rare to see in the past. Will Checo, King of Streets, reclaim another win, or will Max continue his reign? Thank you to Wall Wings for sending us a custom Track Limits front wing. S1 Ep 34EP 34: Dutch GP Race Reflection - Max Ties Vettel’s Record, Alonso Is Back, Gasly Podium & Lawson Debut

Welcome to the latest episode of Track Limits Podcast, where Henny and Feven, joined by special guests Niru and Sayem, share their thoughts on the recently concluded Dutch Grand Prix. This race did not disappoint at all! With a bit of help from Mother Nature, we got to see every team get tested for their efficiency and strategic prowess. For Max Verstappen, you can throw any obstacles at him, and he continues to have dominant wins. He tied Sebastian Vettlel's nine wins in a row this week and will be hunting for the record-breaking 10th win next week. What looked like it would be a strong weekend for both McLaren and Mercedes was filled with strategic mistakes, wrong setups, and race incidents. Albon and the Williams team were a massive surprise to many, finishing P4 in qualifying and P8 in the race. Only time will tell on the growth Williams can have under the leadership of James Vowles. We were all disappointed to see Daniel Ricciardo miss out on this race and potentially a few more after his accident in FP2, but Liam Lawson rose to the occasion and performed well for a rookie with limited time on the track. With Monza right around the corner, do we anticipate Max Verstappen breaking the record, or will we see another drive sneak up and steal the win in what's expected to be another rainy with a mix of sunshine race day? S1 Ep 28EP 28: Belgium Race Reflection - Max's Unstoppable Run, McLaren Gambles With Rain, Yuki Fights Back

Welcome to the latest episode of Track Limits Podcast, where Henny, Mikey, Swish and Feven share their thoughts on the recently concluded Belgium Grand Prix. We had another sprint weekend, and with rain forecasted throughout the weekend, teams were limited with their setup and had to gamble on the rain falling on Sunday. McLaren was one of those teams who loaded the car anticipating rain, and it bit them hard as they struggled to keep up the pace on the two long straights. On the other hand, Max Verstappen starting in 6th but finding himself clear of the field by lap 20 is becoming the new normal, even though we should be amazed by his performance. It brings up the question of how Checo could not even battle Max in the race even though they have the same equal machinery. What looked like an excellent weekend for both Piastri and Sainz ended in DNF as they made contact during the race start in the first corner. Time will tell, but Piastri, as a rookie, showed great performance these past few races and is eyeing his first podium in the upcoming races. Summer break is upon us now, and that means no F1 races for several weeks. Don't worry though; Track Limits will still be dropping awesome guest episodes in the coming days. S1 Ep 26EP 26: Hungary Race Reflection - 12 Consecutive Wins, McLaren's Back 2 Back Podium, Alpine Disaster

Welcome to the latest episode of Track Limits Podcast, where Henny, Mikey, Swish, and returning guest Niru share their thoughts on the recently concluded Hungary Grand Prix. All eyes were on Hamilton after picking up a stellar pole position. The start of the race saw Hamilton lose a few places and both McLarens pouncing on the opportunity to fight for the podium. Alfa Romeo shocked the audience with both drivers qualifying in Q3 but with Zhou stalling at the start; his race was over from Lap 1. And the misery continues with Alpine as Zhou caused an accident that saw both drivers DNF after the first lap. Are we really surprised that Daniel Ricciardo outperformed Yuki in his first race back after six months off? Only time will tell if he can continue to outpace his teammate or if Yuki steps up his performance. Off the race track, there has been a lot of talk about cost cap infringements and future regulation changes swirling the paddock as the summer break will bring on reports and updates from the FIA. S1 Ep 23EP 23: British GP Race Reflection - The Lando Show, Ferrari Strategy Flaws, Williams Emergence?

Welcome to the latest episode of Track Limits Podcast, where Henny, Mikey, Swish and Feven share their thoughts on the recently concluded British Grand Prix. McLaren did not mess around in their home race. They had a chrome livery and a new package that not only brought them back in the mid-field but almost on a double podium finish. William looked amazing throughout practice and qualifying and managed to secure P8 with Albon. If you remove Max from the equation, the rest of the field is within four-tenths of each other. As Toto Wolff said, the regulations seem to be working in bringing the teams closer together in race pace. Only time will tell if Mercedes, Aston Martin, and Ferrari will bring massive packages to close the gap on Red Bull. We also saw Brad Pitt and his co-stars filming the Apple TV movie during the GP weekend. It looks like APEX GP entered as an 11th team and led the drivers walk onto the track. We are excited to see how this movie comes together. Next up, we have the Hungary Grand Prix, and we will get to see if McLaren can pull a repeat podium finish or if the other teams will fight back with new upgrades. S1 Ep 21EP 21: Austrian GP Race Reflection - Lando’s Mighty Performance, Mercedes Struggles, Checo Comeback?

Welcome to the latest episode of Track Limits Podcast, where Henny, Mikey, and Feven share their thoughts on the recently concluded Austrian Grand Prix. With the new sprint race format, we got a lot more racing and even more TRACK LIMITS penalties. Even after the race, more than five drivers received additional penalties due to Aston Martin's protest. With race qualifying on Friday, we saw the two Ferrari drivers show their one-lap pace and finish very close to Max's pole lap. Checo, unfortunately, could not put anytime on the board due to track limits. The Sprint shootout and race offered some entertaining moments, but Max was able to cruise to a dominant win, with Checo finishing in 2nd place and Carlos in 3rd place. The Sunday race had everyone return to the qualifying grid, which meant that Checo had to climb up the ranks from P15, and with his strong performance, he finished 3rd on the podium. Max has such a large gap that he pitted for new soft tires and went for the fastest lap on the last lap. It seems like no one on the grid can compete with Max right now. Even with a high degradation track, the Ferrari cars performed really well this weekend, and we will see if they can push even harder in Silverstone. The Mercedes and Aston Martin had a miserable weekend full of setup issues, lack of pace, and track limit penalties. We are sending our condolences and thoughts to the family of Dilano Van 'T Hoff, who sadly passed away after an accident at Spa this weekend. We must address the safety issues that caused this incident and make sure they are avoided in the future. Thank you for tuning in. We will see you in Silverstone for what can hopefully be a Mercedes or Aston Martin win? S1 Ep 19EP 19: Montreal GP Race Reflection - 100th Red Bull Win, Ferrari Nails Strategy, Champions' Podium

Welcome to the latest episode of Track Limits Podcast, where Swish, Henny, Mikey, and Feven share their thoughts on the recently concluded Montreal Grand Prix. This is a full circle moment for us as we initially came up with the idea to start Track Limits during last year's Montreal Grand Prix. This past weekend, we were grateful to work with Red Bull, AlphaTuari, Aston Martin, Pennzoil, and Shell to get a closer look during the race weekend. It was great to see Red Bull secure their 100th win since they entered F1. Seeing Ferrari make the right strategy and show great pace gives us hope that they can bounce back and fight for podiums. Aston Martin and Mercedes were neck and neck throughout this weekend and gave us an entertaining few laps of overtakes. It may have been the most iconic podium finish F1 has seen and it was awesome to have it happen on our home race. Let's hope we get more of these finishes in the upcoming races. Welcome to the latest episode of Track Limits Podcast, where Swish, Feven, Mikey, and Henny share their thoughts on the recently concluded Saudi Arabia Grand Prix held in Jeddah. Despite the track's reputation for significant crashes and numerous safety cars, this year's race was one of the cleanest to date. The Red Bull team clearly had a rocketship, with Max Verstappen's impressive performance going from P15 to P2, while Sergio Perez took a leisurely cruise to victory. Unfortunately, both Ferrari and McLaren seemed to disappoint this race weekend, but there's still a long season ahead, and we still have faith in their capabilities. We discussed the FIA debacle and whether they are taking a more rigid stance on the rules this year. We would love to hear your thoughts on this on our socials below, and we look forward to seeing you all at the next race in Australia.
