There are seasons in life when weariness feels unavoidable. Our bodies grow tired. Responsibilities pile up. Faith can feel tested by time, pressure, and pain. Yet tucked within the struggles of the Christian life is a remarkable promise: even as our physical strength fades, God is renewing us inwardly—day by day.
This truth, found in 2 Corinthians 4:16, is not sentimental encouragement. It is forged in real hardship. The apostle Paul wrote these words while enduring persecution, imprisonment, and suffering. Rather than denying reality, Paul reframes it. Yes, the outer self weakens. But something far more enduring is taking place within.
