Daniel Lanois is a multi grammy winning producer and engineer. He's worked with U2, Bob Dylan, Neal Young, Brian Eno, Peter Gabriel and Emmylou Harris to name a few. In addition to his production accolades, Daniel has consistently recorded, produced and toured his own solo efforts. Joe and Daniel discuss the benefits of playing arrangements live before recording the forthcoming record "Heavy Sun" and the sense of cooperation that the backing vocals bring to the record. Daniel gives us his thoughts on touring, what he's been up to in the last year and what he most looks forward to once we're post-pandemic. Most importantly Daniel reminds us that "joy has not gone out of fashion". Joe plays the new single "Power" and " (Under The) Heavy Sun" from the new record Heavy Sun, out March 19th. Enjoy.
