Melat Gebeyaw Nigussie is sinds kort de nieuwe directeur van de Beursschouwburg. Toen ze als studente van Leuven naar Brussel verhuisde werd de activiste in haar wakker. Teveel van haar afro-europese leeftijdsgenoten voelen zich niet thuis in het land waar ze opgroeien en daar wil ze iets aan doen. Het thema van de internationale vrouwendag ‘Invloed met impact’ is voor haar een extra stimulans.
