Nina shares why both of her books have featured neurologically diverse characters, as well as how she recreated the exact layout of her town in this story. Nina also tells Zibby about the event that inspired her to start writing, how her family's Holocaust story and Jewish heritage factored into this book, and what genre she wants to try her hand at next.
