The two discuss the impact Jennifer's upbringing had on her opinions on reproductive rights and class, as well as why it is so important — especially right now — to talk frankly about abortions. Jennifer also shares how she got her start as an author, why she needs to fully disconnect from the outside world to write, and the effects teaching at UMass Boston has had on her own writing.
