Perlman is joined at his San Francisco home by host Peter Hartlaub, and reporters Kevin Fagan and Steve Rubenstein. He gives his thoughts about science deniers, talks about how he became a science writer, his memories covering the AIDS epidemic with Randy Shilts and why he wishes he was still in the newsroom right now.
