Show Notes

Consistent. A word synonymous with Saints this season for generally the wrong reasons. Consistently poor and unentertaining performances, generally rewarded with little (or few) Premier League points. Well, they were at it again this weekend with a rather drab 0-0 St Mary’s performance against Stoke. Ben Stanfield (host) and Adam Leitch (Chief Sports Writer, Southern Daily Echo) attempt to pull out some of the key talking points from the game and make them sound a lot more positive and interesting than they really were. Alongside that, the two of them discuss whether Saints should consider themselves lucky that there haven’t been more signs of discontent from the fanbase at a truly woeful season, as well as whether they’ve misplaced the ‘local/family Club feel’ that they have always prided themselves on, in search of an improved global branding. The Podcast ends with a preview of the Newcastle United away game, which is next up for Saints in the Premier League.Twitter: @totalsaintspodFacebook: www.facebook.com/totalsaintspodE-Mail: [email protected]
