The youngest third of The Stastny Brothers Anton Stastny talks about collectively scoring over 1000 points for the Quebec Nordiques, playing on the same line with older brothers Marian and Peter, those crazy Battles of Quebec against the Habs, their dramatic defection from communist Czechoslovakia to Quebec City, scoring 28 points with Peter in just two games, taking care of Joe Sakic when he started with the Nordiques and then Joe returning the favour by taking care of Anton’s nephew Paul years later as teammates on the Avalanche, and the brothers’ idolization of fellow countrymen ‘Big Ned’ Vaclav Nedomansky and Stan ‘Stosh’ Mikita who blazed that trail to the NHL!
